In today's post-Enron environment, ethics has certainly become a trendy concept. Every wrong move by a corporation is magnified and sometimes distorted either by the media or academics. Whether it is about environment, health or safety, consumers, shareholders and employees now question the behaviour of multinational companies. The reason is, according to the public opinion, the multinational companies would be the main actors and beneficiaries of a globalisation of which they do not carry the consequences. Under these circumstances, they are asked to play a greater role in the social sphere: time has come to ‘globalise the social progress’. Souvenirs ? Souvenirs !

1 an déjà. Il y a exactement 1 an je posais mes bagages sur le sol suisse. Je me tenais pareil, en bas de chez moi a 4 heures du mat en train de fumer une clope, à me demander qu’est-ce que j’étais donc bien venue faire dans ce pays. 1 an après, rien n’a changé, juste en plus tout plein de souvenirs dans un coin de la tête…

PS: Putain, j 'ai encore des potes qui croient que (1) Genève est la capitale de la Suisse (2) que j'habite toujours à Genève (3) qui n'ont pas la moindre idée de ou est Lausanne (4) et qui ont encore moins l 'intention d'y venir me voir. La loose ! I knew it: j'aurais du habiter à HK.

Malheureusement, cela traduit bien ce qu'on peut parfois ressentir en tant qu'expat en Suisse.
